Attendance, redesigned

We rebuilt the clock-in screen from scratch. Shift, the day’s movements and remaining hours now sit on one screen.

We took the clock-in screen back to zero. The aim was simple: an employee opening the app should see “what have I done today, how much is left” on the first screen, and a manager should read the team’s state at a glance.

What changed?

The old screen kept the shift, the day’s movements and the remaining time in three separate places. The new design gathers them on one card, with the day’s movements laid out as a timeline.

  • Shift card: start and end time, break deduction and remaining hours in one place.
  • Timeline: every clock-in and clock-out of the day in order, with missing records flagged.
  • Quick actions: leave and overtime requests open from the same screen.
  • Manager view: the team’s missing and late records gather at the top of the day.

Who is affected?

The change covers every account using the attendance module. It is live in the mobile app for field teams and in the web panel for managers at the same time. Payroll and leave flows are untouched, and existing records are kept as they are.

How do I switch?

The new screen is open to every account with nothing to install. Users who update the mobile app see the new design straight away. Managers who want the old view can keep using it from settings for a while longer.
